War Game.

I have BF2 and have been playing Euro Forces but I wanted to know if there is a war game similar to that. I dont want one like COD nor BF2142 I mean something around a war in the 90s to now.

Anyone got any ideas.

If by war game you mean a real time strategy, then Command and Conquer Generals is set close to this time frame, and is very fun

Translation : Can anyone recommend a decent FPS in a contemporary wartime setting, besides BF2?

Umm, not quite war, but Anti-Terrorist/Armed response. Swat 4 was a pretty good game, also cheap now along with the expansion pack.

Might go reinstall it actually!

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter! Can't believe I didn't think of that. Should be able to pick it up really cheap now too.

Yeah that's a cracking game. I'd brand it a FPS simulation though, it's far from arcadey.
