WAR MACHINE | Netflix

I watched this the other night and enjoyed it, it's very silly but very fast paced and filled with over the top action.

Reminiscent to over the top 80's and 90's action flicks, if you enjoy that sort of thing and don't go in expecting Citizen Kane you'll probably have fun with it.

Exactly what I expected and wanted. Switch your brain off, lots of bangs and booms, more gory than I'd have expected for Netflix. I enjoyed it.

Although the last words should have been "...and 81" it was definitely setting up for the sequel.

Turn brain off and munch a sharing pack of crisps to yourself 6.5/10 movie to me.

Enjoyed it ticks all the boxes you'd want from this type of movie and they did it well which is saying something for a Netflix film.

watched last night - yeh 6.5 ish

People comparing this to predator online, yeh i get that but feel predator did this premise better

Thou i would have said its was more akin to battleship

I thought it was OK overall, and liked that it wasn't trying to make massive statements or to be more than it actually was.

A bit heavy on the colour grading / editing in places which drew me out of it at times.

About 1 minute in, someone has just said a line that I know for a fact is going to be how they kill the 'big bad' - Tell me I'm wrong :D
Not wrong because it's reiterated at the right time for, lets say the less attentive audience member :)

Fine for a harmless bit of action movie fun.

Actually quite enjoyed this one. As others have said, its definitely a 'brain out' kind of movie and the end game was definitely set up in the first five minutes. Probably wont watch again any time soon but if there is a sequel, I'll watch again then.

Made it about 60% through then gave up. Nothing wrong with it per se, it's just generic and "seen it all before, but better" in other films!

Enjoyed it, brain off job but certainly worth a watch but probably not a rewatch.

Me likey things going kablooey.

I quite enjoyed this one. I went in with fairly low expectations but, putting the blatant military propaganda aside, it was actually quite fun.
