"War on Scientology"

711chan was were it started now they've backed out i dont think its really gonna last much longer

They backed out on the 27th, since then a brand new video has came out from the original creators of the very first, it seems to be going fine.

All 711chan said is they don't want their site affiliated with it, it doesn't mean they aren't helping from behind the curtain.

Yeh, they are regrouping elsewhere. They are like the Taliban, destroy their homes and they are still at large.

Not being funny, but I don't see this as a victory for CoS, nor showing signs of defeat in the "war". Anon is a clever bunch of people who have grown rapidly in recent days due to the publicity. I think you will find many people jumping on the bandwagon for something to do...kids these days... too much time on their hands and youtube is partially to blame ;)

They seem to not want to be part of it due to anonymity, if they publicly say they're nothing to do with it any more, then they pretty much get their anonymity back... so maybe you're right

LOL. You're thinking far to literal.

What's happened over the last week or so has inspired a lot of people to do something about it , I'm sure.

717 aimed to help get the ball rolling, and they've achieved that IMO.

Yeh, you can't expect them to bend over and take it up the backside - then give up and have no anger for the people who did it to them.. they will be helping somewhere along the line.

I don't see what the problem is with Scientology, it's the same as any other 'Religion' they are all as bad as each other, they ALL use brain-washing techniques, they ALL have had people killed or people have died through their 'belief' in their own 'Religion', they ALL believe that their faith is the true and only faith to follow, they are ALL blind to any criticism, they ALL make their money from the people who believe in them, they have ALL taken land/property from people, and finally they ALL believe in fictitious supreme beings.

Now, what's different about Scientology?

Just to make sure its a typo and not a site I have missed. You mean 711chan right? Just you have mentioned 717 twice now.

All the other religions are considerably older than Scientology. Because of this they are more entwined into everyones social lives.

For example, people who aren't Christians still celebrate Christmas and Easter.

I'm pretty sure that if Christianity, Catholicism, Islam etc were "new" religions at the time the internet and a huge wealth of resources were around, it'd be exactly the same as it is now with the CoS.

It's not as clear cut as saying "it's just as bad as all other religions so lets treat them the same" as the social and cultural standings are completly different.

Yeah I do.

yes but when Christianity did it it was legal, when Muslims do it it's not really following the Koran, when they do it it's fully sanctioned and illegal.

if the Christians started starving people for wanting to leave they would be in a simmalar situation here.

Extremists, fanatics and harassers.

The BBC Panorama and many of the youtube videos i posted prove the above.

The constant following, the constant abuse from those 3 men not even giving the guy a chance to talk AND when they did give him a chance it was only what they wanted to hear.

They are super defensive and don't respond particularly well to the slightest of criticism.

Brainwashed.

edit: Also when has a religion selectively tried to recruit celebs in an attempt to spread their beliefs to the vulnerable.
