Does anyone on here go on the PC game War Rock. I was in the Beta at the start of this year and thought it was pretty decent so i picked up the game today and it really is an awesome multiplayer FPS. What do you guys think?

I've heard that it's a poor substitute for Battlefield2/Counterstrike Source.

Yeah, i tried the beta and coincidentally just thrown the CD in the bin. I didnt like it...

I played it, thought it was quite trashy. Especially didn't like the way the games didn't use a dedicated server so it was pretty laggy. Apparently it's got quite a lot better now but it's not enough to pull me back.

I tried it for a few weeks in Beta, It was pretty laggy. I remember when I killed someone, because of high lag/ping he killed me after he died. :confused:

And the sniper rifle takes like 2-3 hits I think to kill someone.

The retail product has hardly any lag at all. Well i dont get any at all, i get around 40-50 fps in a game using my gaming rig below. And theres no internet lag whatsoever, i'm on 4mb virgin cable.

yeah, seemed rubbish. if you want a decent free fps, your best bet is the original enemy territory, or the FEAR multiplayer component, which is now free.
