Warhammer DX12

new dx12 game to bench thats cool, too bad there is no multi-gpu bench, i hope the game got the profiles and just need testing would be good to see gpu scaling.
the sadest part of that bench is the 960, priced as the 380X, while the latter is up there with 970.

Pretty weird that the 780ti doesn't work at all. Looks like the game needs lots of development still.

Looks like anything lower than feature level 12_0 is incompatible. Also looks like it really loves asynchronous computing/shading as well. But wow, what is going on with the 960?

With the newest graphics cards and technologies we'll try and see how well performance in DirectX 12. We test with the game based on the release last week, all patched up combined with AMD Radeon Software Crimson 16.5.3 drivers and for Nvidia their GeForce 368.22 and 368.25 (Pascal) WHQL driver. This article will cover benchmarks in the sense of average framerates, we'll look at all popular resolutions scaling from Full HD (1920x1080/1200), WHQD (2560x1440) and of course that big-whopper of a resolution Ultra HD. UHDTV (2160p) is 3840 pixels wide by 2160 pixels tall (8.29 megapixels), which is four times as many pixels as 1920x1080 (2.07 megapixels). We'll also briefly look at multi-GPU scaling as well as frametime performance and latency issues as measured with FCAT and look at CPU scaling.

Ehh, of course it does.

And if we use your logic the 280x doesn't support DX12 either.

The cards that show 0 failed the DX12 feature spec and will not run in DirectX 12 modus. All cards starting at Radeon R9 285 / 380 are fine, for Nvida that's the GeForce GTX 970.

So for now on the AMD side Gcn 1.1 and above will run and on the Nvidia side Maxwell 2.0 and above.

No one is going to raise the point that the dx12 patch isnt out yet....?

If they are using the release version, that isnt proper dx12.

Yea i assume this will get sorted and if there is a proper Dx12 patch like Jono8 is saying then hopefully it will get sorted for people on older Generations.

Better to buy a real true async compute card from AMD and be set for dx12 dont ya think?
The new 480 is going to rock in warhammer.
