Warhawk IGN Review

Well written review, its getting some good scores better than i would expect, surprised they game gameplay only 8.5 though, seems to me to be the best bit!

And 9 for graphics, really? they played the game??

it is a good game, the warhawk details are spot on and the framerate is top notch, but it isn't a 9 for graphics, but again i suppose it depends what you want really.
 
I can see people loving the game (looks great), but an 8.8 for a MP only game with no bots? Thats a highly subjective choice I know, but no bots is a real shame.

Even if they aren't great, they can be useful to practise a little before jumping online and losing badly.

Thats what the offline multiplayer is for, ive played it offline a bit with family, not quite the same as bots, but you get the hang of the controls and which weapons do what etc, all in all good practice for the real thing! Its 4 player split screen if you got enough controllers its pretty good fun anyway.
 
But in a game that boasts about its 24/32 player matches, 4 player local is just not the same. Besides, it isn't a party game, so even when there are 4 people at my place, it wouldn't be the first choice of game.

It is a shame, but I am sure there are quite a few people who don't mind at all because they love online games and don't want to play Warhawk or any game single player.

Well if you know 7 other people with PS3 and they all have Warhawk or someone has the BD version (ghost it onto the others) you can have 32 player games over LAN. Dont think honestly anymore than 4 players per screen is possible without being to difficult to see, dont think many other games offer over 4 player splitscreen, one basketball game is seven players but thats all on one screen though.
