Warlock : Master of the Arcane - Thread

Been playing this.

If you enjoyed civ 5 you will enjoy this, the game basically feels like a civ 5 mod. Only issues are the sometimes lacklustre ai and also the user interface is pretty poor.

Also there's no multiplayer but this has been promised later on, but free or a payable expansion is not certain.

If this had multiplayer it would be a must buy, if you like playing civ games especially civ 5 on your own though then you should definetely buy this.
 
Any more thoughts / impressions on this game from those that have played it now for a few days?

The AI being poor has been mentioned in quite a few reviews, but I notice that there has been a patch already with some AI fixes.

Worth the cash? :)
 
I can't believe there hasn't been more discussion of this game around here. I just picked it up myself and haven't been able to put it down since. It's the very embodiment of "one more turn". Because it's simpler than Civ you won't be sure at first, but give it an hour to sink its fangs in and you'll be trapped. Addictive ain't the word!
 
Can't believe there is only 30 posts in this thread... I tried the demo and it was amazing so I bought it straight away! First game I've bought for donkeys, it's amazing. It's like somebody took Age of Empires & Skyrim threw them in a blender, and then poured it into a nice cup of Civ 5. Nom!!
