Warm, smart indoor clothing?

Wear two Kappa tracksuits that is the whole point in having a wardrobe full of them. One tracksuit each day in the summer, Two in the winter and three if it goes Siberia for a week.

If you don't mind looking like a bit of a ****, go for the Wall Street Banker-bro outfit - generally a Patagonia fleece vest (other brands are acceptable though), corporate logo optional.

I quite like that first one, though I'm not sure how well those two would work with a shirt - if you have a high collar on a jumper then the shirt collars can be a bit awkward... unless of course OP just wears the jumper over a t-shirt perhaps - though that might not be smart enough.

I do think that this is probably the right idea though - a smart jumper, maybe cashmere as some have suggested, is probably the way to go - perhaps a more rounded collar to allow for a shirt collar.

We can shorten this to make it more efficient to say

Take the W from Wall and the anker from Banker :D

Many have done...

Personally I think the "power lunch" text in the third image, with the really creative use of a "power" logo is enough... I don't think there is much more that needs to be stated here beyond those pictures.

Wear something warm/comfortable and then chuck a shirt on for the call?
Amazes me that in 2020 people still have to dress up for work, even at home.

So long as I don't look like cUMMINGS, I can live with looking a bit of an ****.

LOL they're all at it... I guess it's how you wear it Bezos seems to be able to pull it off:

Technically it started as a tech-bro trend, it became popular with bankers post-financial crisis when dress codes were relaxed.

So I'm now working from home, in the north corner of an old house, and I don't want to heat it to office temps (ours were shirt-sleeves most of the year round). I'm sat at a desk, and after an hour I'm freezing.

Is there clothing that will keep me warm and is smart enough to appear on conference calls?

Considering longjohns and long-sleeved vests, but don't want to go all gramps yet...

I bought my mrs a heated throw blanket for £40 from the river-named retailer. It should save a fortune on heating. I was so impressed with it, I just got one for myself, too.

As if people care what you're wearing while on a conf call.

I've just basically been in trackie bottoms and fleece tops while wfh apart from when it was very hot then it was ultra thin gym t-shirts and shorts.

Yeah you keep telling yourself that while your colleagues have a seperate zoom meeting to talk about your inappropriate attire.
I don't dress smart for work anymore, when I did my working environment was hot, but the office was freezing (I spent 70% time in the office). I used to wear a vest under my shirt and one of these which are surprisingly warm. They looked good over a shirt too, especially if you had contrasting colours (white shirt, blue gillet).

Dressing just to look formal and smart for your colleagues benefit is antiquated and ridiculous. Granted if it's a customer facing role or you're doing some form of public speaking then fair enough. Otherwise just be comfortable and presentable.

If I had colleagues who felt the need to have a call about my attire then I would be in the wrong business.
