A few days ago my enermax 1350 psu‏ failed on me. Unfortunately I didn't send it back when i thought it was going and now its out of the 12 month period since i bought it from OC. No problem i thought, i was convinced because it has a 5 year warranty (one of the reasons i bought it)

I contact enermax, they tell me to contact cjcomputers who are there uk rep. I get no response from them, via email. The i get this lovely gem of an email from enermax.

Hello,

I am really sorry. The company C&J Computers is not anymore responsible for Enermax rma in UK. You have to send the psu with purchasing invoice and failure description directly to us in Germany.

So I have to pay to send it to Germany and maybe they will give me some bs reason not to replace it. I dont think OC should stock there PSU anymore. And now i have to decide. Do i want to waste god knows how much time and money with postage or just put it towards a new PSU.

Thanks for reading the rant n be warned!

A lot of people here have been helped out by OC even after 12 months warranty so why not give them ago see what they say.

If you do have to send it of to Germany what really is the big deal it's better then having to pay out for a new one which would be £100+ easily and they wont fob you off if you send it to them this is just the way it works.

Damn,
Had a enermax in the past that failed 4 and half years into its 5 year warranty. sent it and got a new one within a week. Was quite impressed with them tbh.

Send Enermax another email and include the response you got from C&J

How much does it actually cost to send it to Germany? Is it that much different to UK?
Assuming not a 24hr overnight expensive delivery, but typical slow-post service?
