Fair enough as long as their not hiding in your shoe :O.
 
Its got the fangs of a funnel web :p

(its not a funnel web though)

(A funnel web could take down an elephant)

Its simple to avoide that.

You grab the shoe and bang it on the ground heel first.

If theres one in there theres a good chance it will drop out and then you bang it with your shoe :)

Or you just squash the toes of your shoes before you put them on so if there is one in there it mushes them into a cruchy mush
 
Now, you see the common misconception is that spider's are insects.

They are not, they are arachnids.

However, the specimen above is nor an insect or an arachnid. It's a ****ing bloodsucking freak!

i eat funnel webs for brunch /flexes muscles :cool:

but seriously... if you see one of these spiders, stamp on it, or kill it with fire. damn pests.

massive scaring? i'd care about that. plus i'd be scolding MYSELF. if i get bitten by the thing there's not a lot i can do about it, like being stung by a wasp. just get over it, girl

I killed two spiders the other day when I was clearing out my shed. They were about the size of a ten pence piece and had what looked like a toffee revel on their back. It was minging! Made a right mess when I squashed it too. Any ideas what it was?

The fact their is 12 biting breeds of spiders in the UK kinda scares me.

Only this morning I picked what looked like a small shiny black spider up out of the bath tub and took it outside and let it go. Maybe I should stop rescuing these spiders I keep finding in the house and start squishing them? Gotta say never been bitten yet, so does that mean the spiders in my house are nice ones or just ones that cannot bite?

It's the young spiders you keep finding, wait till you find the "Daddy" spider! :D
 
Oh gnoes, heard on the radio that a False Widow was found 2 miles away from me :(

Saw this little spider which looked kinda similar go across my kitchen floor this morning. I move to go squish it, then it stopped dead. I had a bit of a face-off with it and tried to stare it out, but he/she won. I then decided to leave it in-case its big bro was round the corner and it slowly wandered off underneath a cupboard.

I'm scared :(
