WARNING! Razer Pricing is Going up!

Hey guys

I thought it would be nice to announce to you guys that Razer are hiking their pricing by up to 30% across their range. I suggest if you are looking for a new mouse/keyboard and you want Razer to go for it sooner rather than later.

For example the DeathAdder Respawn is going to be going from £44.99 inc VAT to £54.99 inc VAT once my current stock has run dry!

We have 60 units left and then the price will be going up. I'm trying to combat this but Razer believe that their products are worthy of such a price increase.

There are other examples too, some are less severe but most of their range is increasing at least 10%, some up to 30%.

As the keyboard and mouse buyer I believe these prices are not justifable! But Razer know better!

It's such a shame, Razer products are good, but Razer believe that they can command big price hikes. A small increase wouldn't be the end of the world but 30% on some lines is pure madness!

Yes I do

Logitech pricing for example is great at OcUK

The Deathadder will be hitting £54.99 soon and the Logitech G500 Mouse is only £42.99. I know which I would choose.

The Razer Mamba will be hitting £114.99 soon, the Logitech G700 is £69.98. I know which I would choose.

Razer are nothing special.

They make themselves out to be "The one to get if you're a hardcore gamer" when in reality Logitech stuff is better. The Razer keyboard I got is utter ****, always double types keys, feels cheap and the software is just terrible. Their mice are okay, but that's about it, and their headsets? Don't make me laugh.

... had a few razor mice in my days... problem has always been they haven't lasted as long as some of their competitors products... They do look nice though..

I've had 2 Razer mice and 1 keyboard die on me over the couple of years i've been buying decent hardware. My curent Logitech hardware is outliving them, it's better made and it costs less!

One decision made easier if ever I need to make a new purchase.

is it just uk or wordlwide there doing this as chineese razer products are massivly cheaper than uk ones anyway so can you not get them from china?

Worldwide, this price increase has come from Razer HQ in the Far East.

Blimey, the Mamba was a stretch when I got mine, totally regret buying it, poor battery life and lots of creaking/squeaking. Miss my MX Revolution, but that had its own problems...
