WARNING! Razer Pricing is Going up!

Wow they have some brilliant minds working for them don't they at a time when people are tightening their belts these morons pull this. Only had one razor product a mouse it found the bin not long after getting it as it felt cheap and tracking was not very good maybe it was defective but i couldn't be bothered went back to what i know :).
 
if anything razer could do with a 30% drop in prices to compete with logitech. i cant see this lasting long

the only razer mouse/keyboard/pad i have even the slightest interest in is the razer tron, but thats becuase im 5 years old and love the start up lights. however, at £250 it would need to come down by at least £175 before i was interested in it.

I've tried some Razer products in the past and they weren't anything special. I keep a strict policy of only using Logitech Mice/keyboards.

Got myself an Astro A40 headset which is great and a steelseries icemat.

Maybe they will get coloured ink for their keyboards too, rather than printing black text on black keys on the keyboards. :p

Personally I think Logitech have the upperhand now, they give much more reliable products, more range of products, also the customer service Logitech provide is second to none.
 
My razer keyboard has black text on black keys (because OCUK sent me the wrong one and I couldn't send it back due to last minute deadlines). While I would rather be able to actually see the keys, it is amusing watching others try and type on it.

Razer mice are by far my favourite, the keyboards are nice and all but I'm pretty sure at the price range you could say the same of almost all keyboards. I recommended a Logitech one to my flat mate and it truly is something special to type on. I might get one.
 
Was tempted to buy a naga, but if they're going to hike the price for no real legitimate reason then I think I'll avoid in principle.

I feel that Logitec have a better price -performance - build quality anyway.

though I was tempted by a deathadder once, then I read up on it an spoke to some friends which had them, what a releif.

Surely for Overclockers there must be thoughts of stopping selling Razer products all together.

Nail/Head.

I love my old Deathadder mouse but it's not worth paying more than the £35 I paid for it.
 
This is their second large price increase, these mice were once £35, then £45 and now increasing too £55.

To be frank we will always sell their brand but we don't agree with their reasoning for such hikes and is why were selling our old stock at the lower price to give consumers the chance to get one.

Said times really, come on Razor do the right think and be more considerate with your price hikes, 5-10% can happen but 30%. :( :eek:
 
They're just going to kill themselves off, people aren't going to pay stupid prices for their tat. Logitech will just gain even more from this.

the Razer Pricing for headsets will be remaining the same for the foreseeable future.

this is down to superb work by myself and nothing to do with Razer :)
 
Dam Razer!

I have had my Lachesis from when it was first released, the destructor mouse mat and I have the lycosa keyboard.... yes I like Razer.

I got the Lachesis as it was a high end ambidextrous mouse and it has lasted me over 4 years :D

But looking at a new gaming mouse its going to cost £60+ again and I dont think I will get 4 years+ usage again..
 
I have had my mx518 for over 5 years and it is still going perfect, was cheap too. I think I will sticking with Logitech for now.
 
The MX518 (or the replacement G400) is still the best priced vs performance gaming mouse on the market.

I love mine. I do have a Razer DeathAdder, a G500 and a MX518 and I just use the MX518.

At work I do use the G400 replacement for it.
