Hi this has been mentioned in another thread but as it affects GPU's people might not see that thread so i made this one.
Basicly i noticed my fan on my Gigabyte 7970 was going crazy on my desktop so i thought it might be the newest driver 13.3!
But looked at Afterburner and my temps were going over 60c and GPU usage was at 99% on desktop
After a bit of searching i looked at my start up programs and noticed one i have never seen before or knew what it was, iehighutil.exe!
Googled and instantly found many people had come across this in the last week, its a script thats something to do with hacking bitcoins!
Anyway i disabled it and deleted C:Temporary where its located but still found that didn't fix it.
So used a program someone else suggested http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/combofix/
Its now fine
So please check your start up processes to see if iehighutil.exe is there
This is a link to the other thread just in case more help and suggestions are made in that thread http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?p=23972375#post23972375
