Warranty situation

hey guys, today I took delivery of a new (to me) Mac mini M4 from CeX.

I have checked the warranty on it and it says until the 30th of June 2027? That makes no sense as that would make the mini less than a week old no?

Maybe it was new/open box when someone took to Cex and it wasn't turned on before, but in any case you probably got 5 years warranty from Cex anyway.

I’d have no reason to doubt the warranty date - if that’s what is on Apple’s database then that’s what it is.
What I find hard to believe is that someone basically flogged a week old Mac to CEX although they do walk among us.

yeah, strange.. not complaining but just thought I would double check and see, was quite surprised.
