Warranty?

Hi,

I've a PC from a Well known PC maker and it appears the the disk has given up the ghost.

It's only around 2 years old and I know that the warranty from the PC supplier has expired. However, the Disk is a Western Digital one (WD2500AAJS) and looking at their website they come with a 3 year warranty.

So will Western Digital still honour this?

did you check the serial no on the website? if so then yes they will honour it.

Its very unlikely that they will honor the warranty and will probably refer you to the OEM vendor.

Try your serial number in the warranty checker on the web support site and it will tell you for certain.
