Well, as you know I posted a couple of days ago, saying that my gf of 2 years, done some very very bad things to me, if you didnt see, then the threads here:

I was trying my hardest to get on with things, trying to forget, stop feeling bad, was even thinking about going to talk to this girl I like at College, everything was going.....ok.

Now, tonight, my ex emailed me, using her "new" email address(its even a chavy kind of email address), and the moment I saw it and read it, my stomache just turned, I feel awful now, and I've just wen't back to feeling bad again.

She asked me for her national insurance number...which I've got, told her, nah havnt got it anymore, and told her to never ever email me again.

....but I feel bad again, feel awful :(

Is this normal? What should I do?

Sorry btw, I know theres an increasing number of relationship threads, i'll try and make this my last :p
 
Forget her and move on.

The pain will dull down over time mate.

You've done the right thing by asking her to never e-mail you again, but you should've given her her NI I think.

Pop her card or whatever in the post, with a note saying you just found it.

Don't beat yourself up buddy.
 
well to make your self feel better all you need to do is......


Smother her in mustard, stab her in the norks, punch her in the overies, then nuke her from orbit :p

From the last thread you posted, she sounds like a right psycho, not letting you have friends? For the love of god man, she aint worth it.

Its easy to say move on and get over her, but thats what you've got to do.

Time heals all wounds :)
 
On a level mate a trip to Amsterdam will sort you out.

But all I can say is, it will take time. Go out and explore. And definately, DEFINATELY go out and make new mates.

Its always sad, breaking up with a gf. Its even worse seeing them fall to the dark side (chav). But, mate you def did the right thing by getting rid of her. Don't doubt yourself, you did the right thing. She sounded a bit OTT with the controlling.

what happened when my ex split with me (not like this obviously) is i felt terrible for about 2 months, it got steadily worse as time went on, but then after those 2 months its been so much easier!

so when people says "time heals all wounds" in the short term no, but i now know that they were telling the truth!!
 
Ex's eh? What a pain. Believe it or not its gets better over time. It is shocking though when out of the blue (relatively out of the blue in your case) they turn up. Makes your stomach turn and puts nasty thoughts into your head.

However, you are still quite young according to your profile. That's a lot of time to lament the situation or a lot of time to live life.*

You're the same age as me pet, forget about her it's not easy but in time it will get better. I'm online most days if you want to talk to someone a bit closer to home. Better yet come hang out at some gigs with me and my friends we can laugh about what an idiot she was and enjoy being young while we can before we really need to worry about things:)
