washer not drying

hey , my washing machine is not drying well clothes.
only if I put big pieces, for example pillows or carpets.
what should I do? call service?

did you try cleaning the filter? if its blocked with fluff it wont be very efficient.
the heating element might have blown though does it feel hot in the drum after it's been on fore awhile?

How do people live without basic trouble shooting skills and general knowledge?

If you're referring to a washer/dryer than i have previously found you can only dry roughly half the amount that you can wash at one time.

Tried emptying the condenser tray? My sister thought you actually had to fill this with water - then wondered why her washer/dryer took forever to dry anything...

Sounds like you need some calgon.

Put your head in it and turn it on to see if you can spot the problem. Works with ovens too.
