Been waiting since May but it finally arrived last week and I picked it up on Thursday evening. Very happy! 100 miles down and so far my observations are that yes, the interior is definitely the weak link in an otherwise strong package. Also there's virtually nowhere to hide things inside when you leave the car. But it's great on the motorway and even up hills it's not bad if you remember to stay in the right gear. So quiet too, it's really lovely :)

998cc and 3 cylinders of fury. Or half a straight 6, as I prefer it to be known.

Believe it or not the boot space (with the rear seats down) is big enough for 4 of my Caterham wheels/tyres which is about he bulkiest thing I'll need to transport. For me at the moment, the two cars make the perfect combination, and by jesus does it make the 7 feel fast! :)

If i could fit in one of them i'd love it, little tiny cars are great, like driving an underpowered go kart, basically going everywhere in 1st or 2nd gear, feels good man.

Are you buying it in installments, like with those dodgy magazine things? Next month you get some more of it? :P

Best comment so far today, there may be prizes at a later date :D :D :D

The list for mine is about £10,500 - which is a lot, and I'd never have paid that much. But after scrappage for my old Volvo it became a lot more tempting. It's bigger than a Smart, and in reality it's not a particularly narrow car at all. But you can get 3 adults in or a sensible amount of luggage for 2 adults. It's also much, much nicer to drive than a Smart.

0-60 is about 14.5 seconds I think. Sounds worse than it is since it will rarely need to do 0-60 in a hurry, and 0-40/50 is quicker than most traffic tends to be.

I think I could do 0-90-0 in the Caterham in the same time the iQ will hit 60 from standstill!

You got the 1l version !.

Meh, thought you'd go for the 1.3, at least those are nippy :p. EDit: hmmm they're quite heavy, 13.4 sec to 60 even with the 1.3 :(.

Do they come in any other colours? Only ever seen white ones....

Good town car but not sure how a one litre 3 cylinder engine can be 'great on the motorway' :)
