Can it be done properly without ruining?

Reason being I just came downstairs to find my cat has brought in a dead mouse and well yep you guessed it, left it in my shoe. The pair in question, Brand new K Swiss which cost me £65 :o. Blotches of blood inside and I'd rather get it all washed out

****ing cats :o:(

I've always just thrown them in the washing machine. Never seems to do them any harm....

Stick trainers in with washing, i usually stick them in with towels to stop them firing against the drum. Works a treat.

I use an old pillowcase that is tied at the end to stop them crashing into the drum, they will come out fine, just stick them on 40 or lower. They will probably take a couple of days to dry so put them in a warm place if you have one (airing cupboard, on top of a boiler etc.).

If your machine has the option, turn down the spin settings to their lowest, this can stop some of crashing too.

Ok

I have the option of

Easy Care @ 40c

OR

Cottons @ 40c

Now which would a pair of blood soaked trainers fall into :p

I machined my nikes and they were a bit ruined, they were minging anyway. Best way is to prob handwash them and get some of the whitner stuff.
