Started about last week, i would wake up and be welcomed by about 5-10 wasps on my windows (inside)...

Above my window there's the roof, with like a little grate and a lot of dead wasps are there - Been looking at it for a while and seen a few coming through but can't figure out how they are getting into my room :/

Windows shut, doors shut, no holes in the walls etc except 4 drill holes that have yet to be filled with my window blinds.

Drill holes are 2 days old however :/

Just wondering what i should do about them, i know they are dieing this time of year (5 dead on my windowsill atm) but surely without dealing with it they will be back in the Spring?

You need to get somebody out who can safely spray the nest and take it away, you haven’t got a chance of getting it moved yourself, we got ours in the loft removed wasn’t expensive, have a look through the yellow pages etc.

... kill it with fire

sorry

[CONSTRUCTIVE EDIT] If you can hang in there till the winter the nest will die off, but it will be repopulated in the spring. What you can do though is when the nest is 'inactive' go to your local hardware store or similar and pick up some long range wasp killer spray and shoot it into the nest, this will prevent it being repopulated in the future.

Buy a Hornets nest and stick it next to the wasp nest. That should sort the wasps out.

then there will be problems with hornets, i'd recoment getting council out to spray the nest and remove it, then the wasps will be gone, as said this is the best time to do it as wasps will have moved to warmer places

Get the wasps and the hornets to take out the council maybe?

If as already said you can wait it out (won't take long) they will die off and you can remove the nest. It won't be that big if it hasn't been there long and only the queen will be in it.

We had some last year started as a tennis ball size nest and grew to a couple of metres long. They never bothered us so I left them. It ****** them of if I needed to go in the loft though so had to take extra care.

Eventually they died and I cut it up and threw it away, they haven't been back since.

That nest is crazy

I need a camera to really show you what i mean though it's hard to explain!

The roof protrudes out of the house (if u get me) and there is like a grill thing strip all the way along the inside of it and wasps are coming in and out - This could be connected with the attic like.

Hmmm, sounds fun xD

Great pics. I've had a smaller nest every summer for a about 4 years, however this year no wasps decided to come thank god. Our nests were of smaller size to the pics posted. Freaked me out though.
