Wasp traps

bottle, funnel, some honey and a (smaller) bottle lid of alcohol should do the trick...

If this is the idea I think, you don't need a funnel. My parents used to take a 2 litre bottle, cut the top off, tape it back on upside down and coat the *slope* in honey/jam.
The insects would get stuck and slowly find there way into the main bottle :p

Yeah pretty similiar idea, only helps if the hole is smaller as then they have a harder time getting out the main bottle than they did getting in.

Make hole in jam jar lid (slightly bigger than a wasp)

Half fill jam jar with hot water.

Add a blob or three of jam

Put on lid

Tie string round neck of jam jar

Hang jam jar on flight path

I get 100's a year doing this.

nuke the site from orbit
(its the only way to be sure)

you git you have de-cyphered my master plan.

look in your attic and ask your neighbours to do the same, then we can confirm missile lock.

i generally do as Azagoth does if they fly into my room. when secondary scout wasp finds the primary scout wasp dead in bits lying there, he flys back to the nest to report "avoid that window at all costs", he does this by doing the wasp dance. has worked so far :)
