Wasps in loft

Slightly safer option than leaving pools of highly flammable liquid lying around(!) put a tablespoon of insecticide powder just outside the entrance to the nest as they buzz in and out they'll blow the powder inside and kill the queen. Assuming you can still buy insecticide powder the authorities seem determined to ban every such chemical from domestic use

I think my ones have returned as well. Last year there were about 30 dead wasps in the attic area where I use as the home office. But couldn't find where they were coming from. I can see 1-2 daily now.

Thread made me lol before I even opened it.

You should have added a tenner to that bee suit price and got a pest control bloke in to get rid of them for £55. That’s what I did. He sprayed them with some Uber insecticide which I’m sure has also killed the majority of the domestic pets on the estate, but the wasps are gone.

This fella is pretty good at the management of wasps, it is his job and comes across more species than we would, but I'd follow what he does post removal of the nest, sealing the entry points, ton of sealant and nest killer foam etc etc.

Truthfully though, I would have done what @Worthy has just said, would not bother with those horrible things myself and call in a pro like the YT guy above.
