I can't believe that Berbatov cost £10,900,000. I would have thought that we would have gladly bumped it up to £11,000,001 to erase Rebrov's record as Spurs' biggest ever signing.

We couldn't even sell Rebrov he was so bad!

Although the chairman has a big influence it's the manager who chooses the players, the chairman just hands over the millions of pounds.

Edit- I have to agree with Marcelinho though

Edit- My top wastes of money= Mendieta to Lazio 29 mil and Veron to Man U 28 mil.

He just went from being absolutly awsome in midifeld to being complete arse exactly at the moment Kenyon said "There we go lazio, my, i never quite get over over just how many noughts there are in a million, anyway he it is one great big fat cheque with 28.1 million pounds on it"

David Platt is pretty good at wasting money. He spent around 12m on several players when we (Forest) were in massive debt already. The only player out of the bunch that had any influence was David Johnson (3m iirc from Ipswich) and that was only for 1 season.

No he wasn’t, he just wasn’t played enough, he was brilliant when he played. Not his fault really.

Kleberson and Djemba, although they were not that 'expensive' were turkeys. Veron has got to be pretty high.
