i think a lot of money is wasted on mods because the owner either had to mod the car in stages or they increased their requirements from the vehicle.
i know people that have bought n/a cars, put cams in etc then decided they want even more power and turbo'd it...requiring many of the mods they'd added to be removed and replaced with different components again.
it would've been cheaper to go straight to turbocharging in the first place...ie the early money was wasted.
