Hi All,

I've been looking at Wasteland 2 and it seems a lot of game for a budget price that's getting good reviews, anyone planning to pick this up?

I am very tempted as I am loving MGS but I don't play it as much as I would like (I've been at 17% for a few weeks) as I never know if I will have time to complete a mission once I have started it and with no manual save option its very difficult to know I will have the time to sit and play through.

I am thinking about selling on MGS and picking this up, I know its a massive 80ish hour experience but as long as its got good character progression, story and tactical combat along with a manual save option it may be more fitting with my gaming time.

I am just looking for something to get into to pass time until Fallout 4 at the moment and it seems a choice between this or take it easy and pick up PES 2016

Just a warning PES 2016 is awful online.

I hate playing 1v1 games online as most seem to have a habit of players quitting out and just generally an unpleasant experience.

I only want it for master league but I know the novelty will only last a couple of seasons, which is why I was hoping Wasteland would see me through till fallout.

biggest problem I have is a lot of the recent open world games I love but very few have I ever finished as there is too much focus on side missions that offer little in the way of rewards, I was sort of hoping Wasteland 2 wouldn't be like that.

I'm going to do some more reading tonight and maybe pick it up tomorrow if it sounds good.

Master league and offline play is good this year on pes, I was thinking of getting wasteland on pc I haven't played turn based game in ages, if you do pick up let me know what its like.

Wasteland 2 is brilliant.

Deep, deep RPG, and the DC has seriously improved upon what was already a great game.

Highly recommended.

Cheers for the hope Kelt. I picked it up today but its currently downloading a nearly 4gb patch and I am at work in an hour but then I finish for 12 days and hope to put some hours into it.

I had hear a lot of issues with small text but I put a gameplay video on the TV last night and sitting about 6ft from a 55" tb means I could read it all fine :)

I was tempted to wait as divinity original sin also looks really good to me but I'll no doubt pick up Fallout 4 and save that for once I'm done with Fallout.

It's a good reboot and you're getting it at bargain price and hopefully all the game breaking bugs have been patched out of it!

I will play it again soon myself.
