I wear watches on my left arm, but that is because I am left-handed. Why would a right-handed person wear a watch on their left arm?

Generally its accepted that you wear the watch on the opposite wrist to the hand that you write with (now use a mouse with).

I'm left handed and I wear (or wore, haven't worn one for years) a watch on my right arm.
