Watch Dogs Benchmarks

Your gpu usage is like mines with 2 x R290 cards, jumping around all over the shop, i'm getting between 35 - 70 fps. Gpu usage is like 50 - 100 constantly spiking on both cards. Guess I need to add another card to play this game ! There's no way a single R290 shouldn't be able to handle this. The gfx really aren't that good.

Adding another card isnt the solution unless you already have capped out GPU utilization not to mention the CPU to support trifire.

I've jsut been playing at work, a single 290x 1000/1250, hovers around 50fps, the odd drop to 45 but no lower.
That jsut with temporal smaa, 1440p, all on ultra.

added a lil afterburner piccy 4-5mins of gameplay (the high fps at the start is the menu)

You can see average vram use is 3.5gb, avg ram use is 5gb

Ive been playing this on a

I5 4670K @4.4Ghz
8GB ram
HD7950 3GB At stock

1920x1200 Everything as high as it will go with temporal smaa and im sitting around 34-37 fps, strange thing is ultra textures are supposed to demolish VRAM and im never above 2500Mb. with 4x msaa im getting 27fps which on that single card at that res I think is great. I have render rain set to 1 and console changed to pc in the config. at 30+ the game feels for 98% of the time smooth enough though a little more horsepower would make all the difference.

Still doesn't look as nice as I expected and no ultra setting for shader or does this unlock with a bigger card?

I've finally got mine running smoothly, running on

I7 4770k @ 4.4Ghz
8GB Ram
2x 780TI SLI
1440p

With everything on ultra I run out of Vram, even with AA off which is a bit of a shock really as I just spent almost £1000 on them cards a week ago. With textures on high and no AA it runs fine for the most part, occasional stutter when driving really fast but its rare. I just hope its not a sign of things to come, starting to think I may have made a mistake spending so much on 3GB cards if they aren't going to be adequate going forward.

You need 3GB vram to unlock those settings as far as I know.
