Watch Dogs Legion Code Redemption

I assume we just wait for this code to turn up from OCUK for this? Got my 3000 series card yday but no code yet. Know game isn't out yet but don't want to forget about it..

Does your order include the item "NVIDIA RTX Bundle Promotion - Watchdogs Legion & GeForce NOW" with unit and total price "FOR FREE!"? If so, I think you should should have received a code, at least one for GeForce NOW, which is available now. If you don't have the latter, you should get in touch with OCUK. According to OCUK's T&Cs, once OCUK dispatched the card to you, you had a contract with them. If your order still includes the promotional offer, then OCUK is contractually obliged to provide it.

Check out nvidia's information page on the promotional offer:

Hmm that kinda sucks, I see no such bundle on my order, thought all 3080/90s got it. Can't seem to find if OCUK is a nvidia partner either.

They stopped including that offer because they only got a limited number of codes. Nevertheless, you are lucky to have your card already even though you ordered after the promotional offer was withdrawn. That's very unusual.

Can I ask, at what time was your order placed? I placed mine on 17/9, 15:18 and the bundle was still included at that time.
I got a 3090 so was only available from the 24th Sept 14:00.

I got an order in within 30mins of that so I would guess all us 3090 owners who paid top dollar for marginal performance increases get the added bonus of no free game. Sweet

Ah, that explains it. They used all their codes when hordes of lowly 3080 buyers, like myself, stormed their website. Sorry.

Sorry wasn't trying to come across big headed or anything 3080 is a better card than the 90 IMO (for me) and I'd have taken one if I could have got one..

It's just a poor show from nvidia, botched launch, load of advertising about a free game...that you don't get if you buy the highest end card. Unimpressed.

My codes for Watchdogs and Geforce Now were emailed after my shipping email arrived for my GB Vision 3080.
To the other question about Steam, no, it's Uplay. You redeem the code on Nvidia and have you sign in to Uplay, via Nvidia, to have the game place into your account in Uplay.

Straighforward process.

Haha, I was just kidding mate. Enjoy your 3090.

I asked support a few days ago about it, they said they have no more codes but if they get more they will add them to orders. Basically, if you've not got a code, you're not getting a code.

That is to new orders. Old pre-orders from release day already have them applied to the order, so once stock arrives you still get it.

People don't realise it yet, when RTX 3070 hit, will the bundle included or RTX 3080/90 pre-order will be given first? either way people will complain, what will happen if your card ship after 30th November? questions that's still no answer.
A shiit storm is coming again, I can feel it.

I've gone through the means of contacting all of every ASUS support page in attempt to get a code as well as directly with Nvidia customer care very recently, also spoke to Overclockers support.

All more or less give the same answer that it cannot be fulfilled, just posting here so that anybody else looking for their code or the possibility of getting one will understand that it's not possible.

Overclockers effectively received only 1000 codes, those 1000 codes were all given out with the first 1000 - 3080 orders on the 17th. This means that the rest of the 3080 orders, All of the 3090 orders and all of the upcoming 3070 orders will not be eligible for a code. I mean everyone technically is because the promotion is still active but Overclockers have no more codes.

Nvidia customer care specifically stated this;

Your case was referred to me regarding the WD Legions Promo code availability issue.

I'd like to explain how this game promotion works. It is a combined effort from NVIDIA Marketing and etailers/retailers. We distribute these codes to the retailer and these game promotional codes are solely provided by the retailer and is only provided by the participating etailers/retailer.

For this reason, unfortunately NVIDIA don't have codes to issue and sorry for that.

All ASUS support e-mail addresses, including their promotion team redirected me to the ASUS ROG forum site administrator to direct message, after doing so I received this response:

Dear User,
Thank you for your mail. Unfortunately, This country/region isn’t qualified this promotion. Some coupons require that they be redeemed in specific regions or countries they were purchased in. Please redeem the code in the appropriate region/country.

This promotion – ASUS game bundle is for following regions only: India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, Brunei. This promotion excludes China and North Korea.

For other regions, please visit NVIDIA GeForce : https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/campaigns/rtx-bundle/

Best regards,
ROG FORUM

Hopefully this clears up everything that everyone is wondering.

Yea I also tried ASUS direct and got the same. Pretty rubbish they hammered the free watchdogs in all their advertising and you buy at launch day and everybody for the 3090 misses out. It's just the principle that grates, doubt I'd have played it anyway.

That's a pretty shi77y response from Nvidia "customer care". In one sentence they say "We distribute these codes to the retailer" and in the next, they say "unfortunately NVIDIA don't have codes to issue". That does not make sense. Perhaps a more honest response would have been: "We can't be arsed to give the retailer some more codes" or "Giving retailers more codes would reduce our profits a bit, and we prioritise our profits over our customers and business partners, because we can".

If they did let you activate Watch Dogs before your card arrived, guess what would happen?

I could order a 3080, activate Watch Dogs and CANCEL my 3080 order. Thousands would do that. Easy way to get a free game.

Therefore, it would be pretty stupid if they let you activate Watch Dogs. Why should Ubisoft or your board partner loose out because of Nvidia's FAILURE? Nvidia have let down an awful lot of people. I refuse to give Nvidia the satisfaction of having a single penny from my pocket.
