Watchmen!

It's the only film I bought on blu-ray, sold it & then bought it again for reasons I can't explain :confused:

It is a bit of a marmite film. For me it's destined to become a cult classic in years to come. :o

I went to see it with a lad who had read the novel and said it was the best thing since sliced bread.

I've never read it and thought it was the most boring thing I'd seen in ages. Coudn't wait for it to finish.
 
Had never read the graphic novel before watching it, but sort of wished I had. Just couldn't get into it and it went on for far too long imo.
 
I watched it over a couple of nights as I found, first time round, theres a lot of information to take in if you don't know the back story to any of the characters.

Good film overall in my opinion. :)
 
Helps to have read the book but I still think it's an excellent film. I always thought it was unfilmable but by missing out all the pirate side story, it made it far simpler.

I don't really understand why people walked out or couldn't understand it.
 
I really like it but I'm not keen how they changed it.

My favorite part of the book is Dr M's history but it feels rushed - yet the bonking scenes are a bit lengthy. Would have prefered it the other way around.
 
I saw it at the IMax (2D but the biggest screen in the country) and I absolutely loved it. I have the graphic novel and keep meaning to read it. I'd say it was my favourite film of 2009 and one of my all time favourites. But the odd thing is I don't enjoy it when I watch it on a normal TV.
 
I still reading the graphic novel so I gonna wait till I finshed that till I watch the film. Overall the novel so far is brilliant, one of those stories you can't put down. A must read !!
