Water cooling advice please

I agree Weescott,

but take a read of this test bed taking into consideration that B3 quad core is 115w? and the G0 is 95w

I'm not sure what your point is here?

The review was done with an Operon as opposed to a Quad. And an Apogee GT as apposed to a GTX. The article might as well talk about a Thermaltake Bigwater for how relevent it is.

The issue isnt TDP, but contact area on the chip. The Nexxos XP was the best in its day, but not with the latest chips.

Yes i see what you mean, i was re-reading the link. So you recommend the D-Tek fusion block. Does that come with 3/8 connectors? Also am i able to obtain quick connectors for this block (i dont like all the clamps ect). Having a nice read regarding this block. Hmm feel the summoning of the wallet. Cheers weescott matey

D-Tek Fuzion, yip.

You have the option of barb sizes. 3/8" and 1/2". With 1/2" you can use 7/16th" tubing and not worry about clamps/clips. I use zip ties for piece of mind though.

Push fittings should be simple enough to get.

What kind of temps/ performance are you able to retreive from this block weescott

Could'nt resist the calling of the wallet, sig updated

I only have the Fuzion GFX block at the moment. The build quality is top notch, but nothing like my Silverprop blocks *sigh*, but since both CPU and GFX blocks are held with similar esteem, I have no qualms on recommending the CPU block. IIRC...(and don't quote me on this) the temperature difference to the Nexxos is in the region of 3-5c. Depending on on other components ofcourse.

Thanks weescott you have been very informative,

Also thanks to Sinny for his block recommendations. From the reading, the Fuzion block has some good reviews and it is 100% leak tested and backed by a life time warranty on parts and labour. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye as well.
