ok here is my spec

Antec NINE HUNDRED Gamer Case +120mm side panel fan.
Scythe Ninja CPU Cooler + Heatsink
XFX NFORCE 680I LT SLI INTEL SOCKET 775 DDR2 Motherboard
Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHZ CPU
Corsair Memory 2gB 240-Pin DIMM XMS2-6400 CL5 Ram
OcUK GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI GPU
Western Digital Raptor 36GB S150 10000rpm 16MB HDD
Samsung 500GB S300 16MB 7200RPM HDD
CoolerMaster 700W REAL POWER PRO MODULAR PSU
Logitech G9 Mouse
Logitech G15 Keyboard

i want to water cool this, the case has about a million fans, and at 3.5ghz my cpu runs at just under 70 when running games, i want it cooler :)

i also want a water cooling kit that will all go inside the case, as i dislike the units that sit outside the case as it would be a pain when taking the computer around with me,.

what components would be best for me? ive been told to stay away from pre built kits.

Maybe something like the XSPC Delta kit then.. the CPU block performs remarkably well for the price... (£70-£80 off top of my head).

Theres some test results over on OC3D showing it's performance.

"Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHZ CPU" - I take that's a Prescott?

Sell this on a well known auction site, buy a C2D and a decent air cooler. It'll be faster and quieter, granted no water but would achieve the goal of quieter/cooler computing with the added bonus of it being faster.

My 2p :)

im not sure if its a prescott. i forgot to add to my spec i have a scythe ninja cpu cooler + heatsink also.

yeah i want another processor but will wait until the quad cores are a bit lower :)

thanks for the replies, ive been told that prebuilt kits are not good, and to build one up yourself was better. but i wasnt sure on which components i needed to get and what the better ones are.

Hi Dave,

I'd say you're better building your own custom water cooling setup. I'm currently researching and learning everything there is to know about water cooling and it looks a lot easier to do than I initially thought. Just look into it mate and take your time.
