Right, air is all nice and dandy, but I want to go water as a ncie christmas present to myself. So what should I be looking to get, how much should I be looking to spend, etc etc?

My current rig is the following:

E6600
DS3
2GB Geil ULL RAM
X1800XT (although I have an X1900XT arriving shortly)

Got a Lian Li PC-7+II case, with 3 120mm ambers fitted.

Can someone spec me a decent set up that won't cost the earth (ideally a max of £150, might push to £200 if need be), that would be an improvement on my current air cooling (Zalman 9500 LED for the CPU, VF-900 on the GPU)

Want to get more out of my rig, but it seems a little hot at the moment, I was hoping water might help that. So what do you guys recommend, and what do I need to get on top of the kit?

Thanks for any help.

That was my point, what do I need to go for in a custom kit?

The swiftech kit looks interesting, though, but what else will I need to fit it, what tools, what accessories?

Thats what I'm really after, and possibly a spec of a custom kit :)

For a first timer the Swiftec kit can't be beaten.

It has everything you need to get up and running.

As my 6600 game stable at 4ghz

it's a good idea to always have a bottle of distilled water handy.....and you will need a screwdriver and some paper towels...but that's about it.

so I don't need anything like distilled water, cleaning fluid, etc?

I presume it comes with a good manual for everything?

Yeah get some distalled water but thats it.

Have a look at my thread Here

everyone taked me through My first attempt using that KIT.

Mounted the pump at the side of the Akasa Eclipse it was a perfect fit. Also the wheel holes lined up perfectly with the pump holes so I just used a longer screw to bolt the pump to the case....No drilling.

The res is mounted on the side of the CD rom bays high up ...again a great fit.

Cut out the honeycomb at the bottom for one tube and secured with rubber washer for a nice fit and to protect the tubing.

Also I just cut the PCI slot away keeping the screw hole in place just in case i need to install a card.
