Ok, my first time water cooling, i've gone with the Zalman reserator XT, with only 2 things on my loop, AMD phenom 9750 (not over clocked) and an overclocked ATI 4870. temperatures are being well controlled on Load and Idel on the gfx card, but temperatures haven't changed much for the CPU, their quite high, anywhere from 39 degrees idle, depending on room temp, and 50 degrees

Highest CPU temp i've had is

Idle - 50 degrees
Load - 60 degrees

Any help you guys might have on lowering these temps would be greatly appreciated, and if anymore information is needed, please tell me

The reserator's were never really intended for performance. You could try detaching the 4870 in order to test the CPU only.

i would recommend trying it without the gfx in the loop and see if that aids your temps

i dont think the Zalman reserator XT was ever designed to take a 4870 and the heat it can throw off, are you using a full cover gfx block?
