Water powered car !

that 'water' looked suspiciously like petrol to me :p

Energy generator? Sounds far fetched to me, and couldn't they have chosen a better demo car than a g-wiz :/

they do add something to the water.
Nothing far fetched about it, the technology the generator uses has been played about with for a while, but never seen any company try to mass produce it.

Its a hydrogen fuel cell, but to what extend they are splitting/using the hydrogen from the water I am not sure.

Been told rumors before that people have devolped them (or came up with a way to do so), altough for some reason they have never went ahead with it.

We've had (partially) water powered designs for a long time without having to bugger about with fuel-cell technology. Six stroke engine designs, using steam for the extra power stroke make for a very efficient variation on the Otto cycle theme and can do away with the need for a cooling system while they're at it.

It certainly wouldve had more "impact" if they filled a bottle of water, direct from a tap, in front of the camera and then immediately poured it into the car. Instead, that blue water that they used looked odd.

I'll believe it when I see it.
