Hi,

I bought this back in 2010
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?p=16709855

unfortunately the pump has now broken and needs replacing. I've never fitted anything watercooling based and quite frankly don't really want to attempt fitting a new pump and changing the coolant unguided.

So should I just fit a silver arrow and get rid of the watercooler totally or take the plunge and buy a replacement pump and reservoir?

Thanks

Id just swap the pump, you cant buy those pumps separately though.

Start by moving the rig outside and draining it, thats as easy as finding the lowest point possible and removing it over a bucket as youve got barbs you might need to heat the tubing up first to get it to move.

Once empty remove the old pump and replace it re-attach the barb and refill the system by jump starting the psu and keeping the new res topped up shouldn't take much more than an hour to do.

As youve already got a dual bay gap id start with either a direct replacement

or maybe and upgrade

Easiest way I found to drain the pump/res combo was slide it forward out the drive bays so you can remove the fill plug, tip it upside down then remove the plug over the sink or outside.
