Hi,

I have the Tai-Chi case that came with the watercooling kit installed. I have added a DDen BlackIce GTX240 rad and an 8800 Water block, and replaced the 1/4" tubing with 1/2" Tygon. Will this pump be powerful enough to pump the liquid through the thermaltake's waterkit aswell as the DDen parts.

Flow rate:84 L/ hr

i reckon you need to get a pump as 84 L/HR seems very low, i mean a Hydor L20 1/2" pump which is probably the cheapest has around 700L/ hr.

yeah you would expect that but no, so i emailed them and am awaiting a reply.

ordering the DD12V-D5 Pump Variable Speed as a replacement.

Best thing to do is try it out, don't expect miracle low temps though depending on what you are cooling it may be good enough.

A DDC with an aftermarket top or D5 would be suitable replacements if the performance is worth the price tag.

Below is what Thermaltake said about the pump

Hi,

In your case, the pump pressure is 12V. flow rate is 84L per hour.

Best Regards

'Pump pressure is 12v'?!

Either something got lost in the translation, or they don't know what they're talking about!

I suspect the latter!!

As above, just give it a try first?

sorry that is the colour they emailed me in.

And i suspect they know toss, as i asked do they have easy connector's in 1/2" so i can change the 1/4" ones on the CPU Waterblock and they said yep and we tested them and they're fine.

Got them in the post and they are not 1/2" but 3/8" bl00dy useless tw@t$
