Used my waterpik for the first time this morning. Very impressed indeed.
I had a curry last night and thoroughly brushed my teeth with an electric brush before bed. Teeth felt very clean.
The amount of crap that this blew out this morning was staggering. Every time I spat there was bits in the sink. I never realised just how ineffective brushing is at getting rid of trapped food.

Do they sell water flossers with sharp pointy metal tips so you can run them under the gum line? The thing I don't like about them is the bulky rubber/plastic tips.

Isn’t it strongly advised not to go below your gumline? I thought that was a job for the dentist, not a DIY job.

I run a metal hook tool around my gumline after flossing and it's surprising how much junk gets stuck there.
