Water temp 2 pin sensor connection

Ah ok thank you. I believe my motherboard doesn't have one of those
I have the B450 Tomahawk Max 2 and it definitely does not have a temp sensor header. I ended up using an Aquacool Quadro as that has pins for up to 4 temp sensors. The quadro will take up one of your USB headers though :)

I was looking at one of those earlier, I may have to get one, I think most of the descriptions on these devices(?) aren't very good.

So does it work through the pc/Windows via the motherboards USB header?

Yes indeed it does. It then becomes a controller hub for whatever you decide to plug into it (pumps, fans, I think the quadro does dRGB lighting, temp probes etc). You can also use the software to make your own fan and pump curves, all sorts of fun things.

I have a 5" monitor in my case that I use as a sensor panel, I've been using AIDA64, but have changed to to AquaSuite. This is a quick grab of a WIP display

You don't have to use the supplied software to display the info, it will output temp probe info to other suites, like HWInfo, or Rainmeter that has recently been discussed in the Windows sub forum

Yes it works through the USB 2.0 header and you connect with in on Windows via the device's software.

I recommend either the Aqua Computer QUADRO or Aqua Computer OCTO.

Those are rock solid, I don't know about the reliability of Corsair's, but my Aqua Computer QUADRO has been run 24/7 for over a year and has not failed me.

I've even spilled a lot of water on it and after drying it works fine.

Excellent, thank you Haaammit and METEORIC. I'll look at both of those Aqua products (I'm not interested in Corsair's products).
