Hey guys,

Thinking about my next system and being tempted into the world of water. Just wanted to know if anyone has some good tutorials for newcomers to water cooling. Things like what to buy, what not to buy, setting up, installation.. etc.

Personally I'm still undecided as I don't want to balls things up. I want to do more reading and I thought posting here might be a good idea as I'm sure many of you have a lot more experience in this area and might have some useful things to share that we noobies might find helpful.

For watercooling hardware reviews, I find this website's review very scientifically reliable: http://martinsliquidlab.org/

For tutorial like how to assemble etc, there is a sticky on this forum. You can also search it on google and there's plenty of videos that you can watch on Youtube anyway.

For a first time custom loop it may well be worth looking at the ocuk tech labs bundles like this one: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-041-OE&groupid=962&catid=1532.

They provide you with all the parts you need, everything is guaranteed to be compatible, and you even get some installation instructions iirc. You still have to assemble it yourself so you will still get a good feel for it but it takes most of the scary "what do I need to buy" / "will this fitting work with this..." etc away.

Well don't OcUK charge more for that bundle?

You will have to read up on the components anyway...
