On the air flow direction is it better to have the air drawn in from the top or have it set to exhaust?

I'm looking to do mine next week hopefully and wondering the best way to direct the air.

It matters what the airflow in your case is like, you benifit by using cool air from outside your case being pushed or pulled through your RAD, but if you have a few intakes you can exhaust the air through your RAD!! i would try it both ways and see what works best tbh there's no best way, i have used both in different cases and each case set up had better results doing the opposite :)

I don't know just wondered what block it was, the one ive linked to says it has 4 different jet plates + 1 blank

Anyone know what block it is?

Hello Jlss

Its the EK Water Blocks EK-Supreme HF Nickel Universal. I can't find a link to it via OCUK's main page though but I'm sure someone from OCUK can help you clarify it!

regards,
Sam

Looks great Phil - just a couple of questions!

Why did you not use a nickel block on the 5970 too, and could you not fit a compression fitting on to the top of it? (Are they Bitspower matte black btw?)

Very envious samuelc! :D

the backplate covering the gpu stops the comp fittings from screwing all the way down

there were no EK 5970 nickel blocks available when we made the order
