I recently bought a Antec H20 620 watercooler closed unit for just £50. I cant big this unit up enough but thats not really the reason for my thread.

As a gamer, with not much cash, I looked at the best way to increase the ability of my machine for cheapest.

I did a bit of research and as most will know the main issue that hinders hardware performance is overheating and nearly every product, unless top range, has poor cooling.

Before I installed my computer struggled with WOW on very top gpx. With this unit it now runs this EASILY. BF3 even can runn full gpx without 4xAA.

Lesson 1. Try a watercooler before you splash the cash on a new processor.

True True.

I do however think that even a cheap watercooler will make easier work of it than any fan.

Not true at all.

The cheap watercooled are great for the money, but when you start going into the ~£60 price bracket, air coolers will be better value/performance
