Hey guys, been working on the new rig and ran into a slight issue.

Using the Fathom cooler due to space limitations.

Initially the rad was going to be other way around closer to the I/O area however due to the block on the back of the Rampage IV BE it interfered with the tubes exiting the Rad. So the rad tubes had to go into the Optical bays.

I got the tubes cut to the exact length I measured for the other configuration, however they did spend spare tube which is a plus.

Currently it's all fitted however not personally happy with how this tube looks, the other one is completely fine length wise with no visible signs of bending.

Does this look alright? More concerned about it pulling off the fitting is anything as the bend is right on the fitting.

If needs be I can cut the spare tube to a longer length and swap the tube over. Is it worth doing?

Also with doing this what is the effective way of refilling the Fathom/Eisberg pump/res?

Keep it like that, the smallest point in the tubing where the kink is, is still bigger than teh 1/4" thread the coolant passes through, so you wont see any performance difference. If you think it looks bad aesthetically, grab a 90 degree rotary fitting.

I suggest fitting a 45º fitting there if possible.
It is only a slight kink which probably wont cause any issues but hoses popping off would be real bad news!

+1, a tip l was given from a forum member > always measure twice before cutting the tubbing plus l leave a bit more at least 1 to 2cm depending on the bend + angle.

Easier to cut off than to put back on.:)

Oh yea but this was done by OCUK, I originally measured it was the rad going the other way.

Due to it not fitting it had to be swapped around hence the tighter tube.

Got much longer tube so I can swap it over, just need some idea how you refill the res/pump as the res/pump as it's one unit.

But if there isn't an issue in the bend, I can just leave it be.

that is perfectly fine to be honest, unless you don't like how it looks. from the picture the space in the pipe is still greater than some of the smaller tubing you can buy and if in doubt listen to avenged....he always leads me astray (good advice but he loves watercooling as much as i do)

As these guys say it's perfectly fine, judging by the picture it isn't even kinked to the point where it affects flow anyway (crushing a circle makes an oval, it still has the same area, it's when the bend get's too sharp that restriction ensures).
