Hi all, im looking to get into watercooling and i'll be using it to cool my future 780 and a 3570k, I have a HAF-X case and I know it isnt the best for watercooling in but I was thinking about using a bay reservoir/pump idea, when I looked into it a year or so ago people recommended against them but I wondered if they have improved and are recommended now?

Both the 780 and 3570k will be overclocked so any help on recommended blocks, fittings, reservoirs and whatever else would be highly recommended, I would preferably like a bay reservoir/pump as I think that will save me a lot of valuable space, thank you for the help :)

Bay Res/Pumps are ok ... I had one for a while but I think they're a lot more difficult to bleed than the usual separate res pump setups.

XSPC do a D5 bay res/pump combo - check that one out

i use the xspc bay res pump combo. It's ok make sure you mount it well to avoid vibration through case. mounting the pump somewhere else in case on foam is better if you want it as quiet as possible

You'll be running your fans so quietly that the loudest thing in your machine will be the HDD header moving around.
