here are the parts i have found i want to purcase :

Swiftech Laing D5 Vario MCP655 12V DC Pump
EK-Supreme HF - Full Nickel CPU Water Block [3830046990235]
Black Ice GT Stealth 240 Radiator
EK Multioption Reservoir X2 150 Advanced [3831109840078]
Akasa AK-FN058 Apache Black Super Silent 120mm Fan - 4 Pin PWM x2
Masterkleer tubing PVC 3/8" UV-active blue

I have an antec 1200 case with Intel Core i5(Sandybridge), i only want to cool my i5 for now.

I am confused on which barbs and connectors i will need to use?
The pump comes with 1/2 fitting will this be ok to use in this loop?

Any help or advice on making the loop better will be appreciated

Thnaks Aaron

As far as Barbs and hose goes you can't go far wrong with 1/2 inch barbs with 7/16 tubing, you will need to dip the end of the tubing in hot water to make them fit over the barbs but they shouldn't come off in a hurry.

could you post a link to the 1/2 barbs
will i need anything elese to keep the tubing in place or will it be tight enough streched over the top.

Are there other babs with a more secure connection, im a bit worried about any leaks;)

Hi, before you build your loop, read up on watercooling plenty of info on the net so you get an idea what you are doing, for coolent use distilled or de-ionised water, Halfords is about £4 for 5ltr + silver coil[stops algea building up].

Yeah i have been reading for i while i will use distilled water i saw some pices of algea build up and i dnt fancy cleaning my loop all the time. where can i get a silver coil from do overclockers sell them?

if i was to get a 360 rad instead of the 240 rad would i notice a difference in tempretures if so how many degrees should i expect it to be lower, would it be worth geting as i am only intending to have my cpu on the loop

If you plan on watercooling your graphics card in the future then get a 360, if not then a 240 is fine.
