Is there anything wrong with the various fluids that are about, like Feser One?

Nope. Feser used to be all the rage and I've used it in many previous loops. Its gone out of fashion in recent times due to some issues with clogging up blocks but whether that was a resut of the Feser itself or some other contaminant in the loop is unclear IMO. People have a tendency to blame the product rather than acknowledge user error...

However 5 litres of deionised water for a fiver is pretty unbeatable value so I tend to use that now and a Primochill dye.

If you want coloured fluid buy mayhem dye and mix it with deionised water best combo.
