Basically, my friend want's to add a second 8800gtx to his system, and watercool both of the graphics cards. He currently has a radbox with a thermochill 120.3 built in along with dual dcc ultra pumps, and a storm g4 on his cpu.

He wants to know (and I have no idea seeing as I am just getting into WC myself) if he would see a large temp rise in adding the 8800gtx's in sli to the loop, and whether it would be worth adding a second loop with another 120.3 to his radbox. It seems like extreme overkill to me, but he has the money and simply wants to know if there would be a significant difference it temps.

well it will of course add to the current temp however assuming the fans aren't on minimum speed the 120.3 should be able to cope with it. A second loop may help temps a bit to the cpu, so it would be a good idea if he can pull it off!

I've had 2 8800GTXs. a E6600, and 2 PSUs on a PA120.2 and temps were low, with a 120.3 I wouldn't expect you to have any problems.

But would the temp be significantly lower for the CPU and graphics card if they both had their own dedicated loop?
