ok cheers for that will amened once i get the rad question sorted,is there anything else i need thermal paste ect any little items missing
 
Ummm you can use the thermal paste your going to stick on ur CPU on your GPU core. Iv heard from a reliable source that those fans are pretty rubbish but its totally up to you. You have blue coolant so why not some blue Enermax everests.

well at minute it's 4ghz bundle will i need to redo the overclock? want the max i can get really

those do look sexy might have to find out where to get em how much are they going for
 
Well if you have a decent CPU then 4.2Ghz+ is within reach. Thermochill have just released new rads and i think Ocuk have the old ones so they wont fit in the top of your case without modding i dont think as you need the newer 15mm spacing of the new TC and all other rads. I would check on what fan spacing you need but the new TC are no more expensive.
 
hmm now im confused as to what i need how will i know if there the new rads or not?

also how many will i need of those HI-Flow Hose Barb - 1/2" (G-1/4" Thread) will it be 8?

This includes all you wanted but with better fans and the newer rad. Better barbs and clear/uv tubing so you can just used distilled water and the silver to stop any growing.

Comes with free del as order is over £150. As the CPU block is outa stock you could afford a better one due to the rest been cheaper.

Either chuck it in your res or it will slip snugly into the tubing itself. Well if its not enough then you may end up adding alittle single rad in somewhere but thats all thats going in my case or a very similar spec. How long have you had your 285? EVGA and another few compaines have changed there PCB design so there are 2 revisions of the 285 block about now.

Id have thought they'd be shocking on a radiator, case fans aren't likely to have any static pressure behind them
 
As case fans I wouldnt doubt you for a second, but for radiators I'm skeptical. Shall consult the oracle

Silentpc have your back on this one, that counts for a fair bit.
Extreme have as well.

My bank balance won't like me changing from s-flex though, so I'll delay for a while yet I think

Yah there not worth changing from the S-flex i doubt as iv used them before too and there very very high quality. Buying new though i may have gone with these if looks didnt play such a big part on my current project.
 
only had my 285 a month if that really i will wait till its confirmed form you its ok before i buy my items then,if you can get back to me asap with the info that be great

i have added the thermal paste Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound - 4g tube to the list

hoping stock will arrive soon the tubing and gtx block is all im waiting on:rolleyes:
 
hopefully tonight i shall order if card is compatiable with the block,firstly gotta find these two blocks from somewhere as not got any lol,but i found these bit more money but will these be better then?

Hi mate iv actually just returned a older style 285 koolance block that was brand new as i need the newer one. Drop him a email as he normally has stuff in and that block should be waiting to be added to site so could prolly have that np.
