Whats the purpose of the pump top? Is it so i can attach the compression fittings?

yep. If looks don't concern you, you can save £10 by going for a plexi top. The full nickel doesn't add any temp improvements, just looks nicer (in some peoples' opinions)

The double nipple you mentioned means you could attach your Res straight onto you pump but with the D5 its probably better to have some tubing.

Card and block look good, maybe go for CPU only and then when you are more comfortable with it add the card.

That fluid looks awesome, I think you might have to replace it a bit more regularly than distilled water. There is a thread all about it here somewhere.

Well it depends what i get for Xmas really

If i get a card then ill add it straight away! Fluid does look cool, the only thing is ill never see it lol...Was debating swapping the res for one in the front but then the lights would annoy me

So now i made some changes and I'm going with what cleeecooo said, and went with nickel, but I'm having problems finding compression fittings that are in stock, any ideas, I'm going to get this

If you have Compressions, you dont need clips. If you have barbs you do need clips. Unless you have 1/2" barbs and 7/16" hose, because the hose sticks tighter than a nuns undercrackers.
