watercooling question

Are there any effects of not putting much water into a watercooling system

For example, I'm running a Thermaltake Bigwater 745 system and the resevoir has a "high" and a "low" level indicator, now I have put in coolant so it's JUST under the "low" level indicator so I can actually see the water flowing around the pipes as this is part of the reason I went for watercooling

so is there any negative effects of doing this, it doesnt seem to affect my temperatures even when running orthos dual

That can't be any good for the pump. There should be no air in the loop at all.

Fill it up to the High mark and leave it to bleed

do i have to do anything special to do this?

I've just filled it to the top and replaced the resevoir tank lid

Thats all you do, just leave it with the pump on and eventually all the bubbles will be released into the res,

silly me tho, if i''d just followed the instructions properly I wouldn't have bubbes, I just wanted to see the water moving through the system :cool:
