Watercooling the 1200

I've ordered a prebraided 6+2 extension and I'm going to rebraid some of the wires blue to keep with the theme :)

I should have done that at the start because when I go to switch out my PSU it's partially braided XD

Yea, I've got the block and all ready but it's a Christmas present ^^

I've got an 800D on the way so I'll likely up the rad to a triple and perhaps have the double in there as well.

The management is ok, I just find a few areas of the case a tad cramped but the 800D should sort that out :)

Thoughts I'm having...

1) Ram cooler just to hide that evil red ram slot on show..I can link this into a fan controller to keep the noise down.
2) Swap out half the tubing for something either UV reactive on it's own or add a UV reactive dye to the fluid. I could have the pipes leading into the blocks be black and then come out glowing blue :eek: perhaps with black anti kink coils...hmmm.


Any changes won't be made till after christmas in the rebuild with the 800D but it's good to plan ahead :D
 
I like the idea of coloured tubing. unlike fluid, you can have lots of different colours in your loop. Fluid you can have one colour. Some blue/white or blue/black tubing would look nice :D

You do the perspex etch yourself?
Looks freaking sweet!

I'm building mine up right now :) going to post the build log when its up and running. Mines green and black
